Romanian gambling brand CASHPOT was announced as the new principal sponsor of FC Petrolul Ploiești. Starting with the first match of the 2026‑2027 Liga 1 season against Dinamo București at the Ilie Oană arena, the CASHPOT logo will appear on the front of the team’s shirts. The partnership was presented by club marketing representative Vlad Negoițescu and CASHPOT Head of Marketing Laurențiu Scarlat, who highlighted the brand’s 17‑year presence in Romania’s gaming sector.

At the same time, Dinamo’s newly appointed Portuguese coach Nuno Campos, 51, previewed his debut against Petrolul. Campos stressed the need for further summer signings, described the upcoming game as a test for the squad, and emphasized the importance of fan support as Dinamo prepares for the season opener.
