FC Porto defeats Estoril Praia 4-0 to maintain perfect league record

FC Porto secured their tenth consecutive victory in the Primeira Liga with a 4-0 win against Estoril Praia at the Estádio do Dragão. The victory extends Porto’s perfect start to the season, leaving them at the top of the table with 30 points, five points ahead of second-placed Benfica.

The goals were scored by Froholdt in the fourth minute, followed by Borja Sainz in the 64th minute, André Silva in the 70th minute, and Gabri Veiga in the 73rd minute. Despite the dominant domestic performance, Porto manager Francesco Farioli noted the team’s need to improve their form in the Champions League, where they have yet to earn a point.

Estoril Praia remains at the bottom of the league with only two points from ten matches. Interim coach Sérgio Raimundo remarked that his team struggled to compete whenever they attempted to push forward and equalize, conceding three goals in quick succession during the second half.
