FC Porto clinches Supertaça, becomes Portugal’s most titled club; Os Profetas set for senior league debut

FC Porto won the 2026/27 Supertaça Cândido de Oliveira, a victory that makes the club the most titled football team in Portugal. The triumph also elevated the Museu FC Porto by BMG to the status of the country’s most titled sports museum, reflecting the club’s extensive collection of national and international trophies.

Separately, the Associação Desportiva Os Profetas from Porto Santo announced that, for the first time in its history, it will field a senior men's team in the Madeira 1ª Divisão Regional competition for the 2026/27 season. The club’s entry was confirmed by the Associação de Futebol da Madeira, marking a significant milestone in its development program.
