FC Porto confirms player availability ahead of Benfica derby

FC Porto has confirmed several squad updates ahead of their upcoming Liga match against Benfica. Midfielder Victor Froholdt is expected to be available for the derby after recovering from a concussion sustained on September 4.

In addition to Froholdt, the club announced that Oskar Pietuszewski and Samu have been cleared by the medical department and are available for selection. However, Seko Fofana will miss the match due to a left adductor injury, and defender Nehuén Pérez is also sidelined following treatment.

The match carries significant implications for the league leadership, with Froholdt's return being a key factor for coach Francesco Farioli given the player's statistical importance to the team's performance.
