FC Porto near deal for South Korean midfielder Hwang In-beom

FC Porto and Dutch club Feyenoord are close to completing the transfer of South Korean midfield player Hwang In‑beom. Negotiations have advanced to the point where the player has reportedly reached a personal agreement with Porto, and both clubs are discussing a fee that could be slightly above the €7 million initial offer, with Feyenoord indicating willingness to sell for under €10 million. Hwang’s contract with Feyenoord runs until 2028 and contains a €12 million release clause, but the Dutch side appears prepared to accept a lower amount. The Portuguese club is expected to offer the South Korean a salary of around €1.5 million net per season.

The move follows Hwang’s strong performances at the 2026 World Cup, which increased interest from several clubs. Porto aims to make Hwang a key part of its midfield lineup for the coming season.
