Football transfer activity involves FC Porto, Stade Rennais, and Premier League interest
The summer transfer market is seeing significant movement involving French and Portuguese clubs. FC Porto is in advanced negotiations to re-sign Ivorian midfielder Seko Fofana on loan from Stade Rennais. Fofana, who previously played a key role in Porto’s national title win, is expected to accept a salary reduction to facilitate the move and rejoin coach Francesco Farioli’s squad.
In other transfer news, Stade Rennais defender Abdelhamid Aït Boudlal is attracting interest from English Premier League clubs Fulham and Crystal Palace. The Moroccan defender is reportedly open to a move to England, having declined a new contract with the Breton club.
Additionally, RC Lens is exploring defensive reinforcements to replace Malang Sarr. The club has reportedly made contact regarding El Chadaille Bitshiabu, a 21-year-old left-footed central defender currently at RB Leipzig and formerly of Paris Saint-Germain.
