FC Porto secures solo I Liga lead with comeback win over Casa Pia

FC Porto maintained their solo lead in the I Liga following a 4-1 comeback victory against Casa Pia. Despite a slow start in the first half, the defending champions managed to overturn a deficit after Casa Pia took the lead in the 43rd minute through a penalty converted by Henrique Araújo.

André Silva equalized for Porto just before halftime following a corner. In the second half, Porto increased their intensity, bolstered by substitutions from manager Francesco Farioli, to secure the win.

Following the match, Casa Pia assistant coach Alexandre Santana expressed frustration over the scoreline, describing the result as “too wide” given the team's performance. He noted that while the team showed promise and created opportunities, they struggled to defend set pieces and clinical executions.
