FC Porto to face Torreense in Portuguese Super Cup, Polish defenders highlighted

FC Porto, the reigning champions of Portugal, will contest the Super Cup against SCU Torreense on 1 August at 21:15 CET. The match is scheduled to be played at Estádio Cidade de Coimbra. Portuguese portal A Bola conducted a fan poll to select the starting eleven for the final; Polish defenders Jan Bednarek received the most votes (8.8 %) followed closely by Jakub Kiwior (8.7 %). Oskar Pietuszewski, also a Polish player, garnered 3.7 % despite a pre‑season injury.
