FC Rapperswil-Jona secures draws for men's and women's teams

FC Rapperswil-Jona's men's and women's football teams both secured draws in their recent matches.

The men's team ended a losing streak with a 1-1 draw against SC Kriens. Despite dominating much of the first half with 58 percent possession and eleven shots, the team struggled with efficiency. After falling behind to a goal by Nico Siegrist in the 62nd minute, Salifou Diarrassouba scored the equalizer in the 75th minute following a pass from Raúl Bobadilla.

In the women's Super League, the FC Rapperswil-Jona women's team earned a 1-1 draw against YB. Following a heavy defeat in their previous match against Grasshoppers, the team showed significant improvement. Sophie Profé scored the equalizer in the 43rd minute to cancel out an early lead by YB. Coach Gerold Bisig expressed satisfaction with the team's combative and technical reaction against a top league opponent.
