FC Rouen dominates Mézidon in Coupe de France sixth round

In the sixth round of the Coupe de France held on Saturday, October 24, 2026, Ligue 3 side FC Rouen secured a decisive 7-0 victory against R2 team USC Mézidon.

Despite a significant crowd, Mézidon struggled to overcome the professional side, facing early disadvantages after losing the coin toss and playing against the wind. FC Rouen established control quickly with goals from El Hadj Egny in the 6th minute and Noë Sammer in the 14th. Melvin Borne added a third via a penalty in the 24th minute, followed by a header from Malik Tchokounté before halftime to make it 0-4. While the second half saw more balanced play due to shifting wind conditions, Rouen maintained their dominance to complete the rout.
