The kit will feature a color scheme of carbon and black with white accents, intended to create a dark, rugged, and metallic aesthetic. This design choice reflects the club's deep connections to the mining traditions of the Ruhr region, where it was founded in 1904 by the children of miners.

The release of the kit is expected to occur in July or August 2027.
