FC Schalke 04 documentary sells 14,000 tickets in advance
The documentary “Mythos Schalke – Ein Leben lang” is seeing significant interest ahead of its release. According to FC Schalke 04, more than 14,000 tickets have already been sold in advance of the film's premiere.
The approximately 90-minute film, produced by mach2media in collaboration with FC Schalke 04, chronicles the club's journey from a struggling side in the 2. Bundesliga to becoming champions in the 2025/26 season. The cinematic version will be screened in more than 100 cinemas across Germany starting August 27, 2026.
Following the theatrical release, the first episode of the Sky Original will debut on Sky and WOW on August 28, 2026. A second installment is currently planned for release in the summer of 2027.
