FC Schalke 04 legends call for winter transfers

Club legends Klaus Fischer and Rüdiger Abramczik have called for urgent action at FC Schalke 04 following a difficult start to the season. With only six points from seven matches, the club is struggling with the weakest offense in the Bundesliga, having scored only four goals and failing to record a goal from a striker this season.

Klaus Fischer suggested that the club leadership, including sporting director Frank Baumann, should consider loaning in a high-quality player who is currently dissatisfied at another club to bolster the attack. Rüdiger Abramczik highlighted concerns regarding squad depth, noting that the current roster lacks the quality necessary to maintain performance levels when key players are substituted.

Despite the criticism, coach Miron Muslic expressed optimism regarding the team's defensive stability, noting that the club has maintained a clean sheet in three matches.
