FC Sport River appoints new manager following Copa Perú defeat

FC Sport River is facing a critical period in the national stage of the Copa Perú. Following a 3-1 defeat against Deportivo El Inca at the Estadio Mansiche in Trujillo, the team has suffered three consecutive losses. This loss leaves them with only three points and in 41st place in the cumulative standings.

To attempt to recover their standing and secure a spot in the round of 32, FC Sport River has appointed Guillermo Esteves as their new manager. Esteves, a veteran of various clubs in the Copa Perú, is tasked with leading the team through their remaining matches, where they must win to maintain their chances of qualifying for the next phase.
