FC St. Gallen secured a 2-0 away victory against Servette FC, ending a streak of four consecutive competitive losses. Aliou Baldé opened the scoring in the 6th minute, assisted by Chima Okoroji.

Following the halftime break, substitute Nevio Scherrer doubled the lead in the 50th minute, again assisted by Okoroji. Despite Servette FC maintaining more possession and attempting to control the match, they were unable to overcome the St. Gallen defense. The loss leaves Servette FC at the bottom of the table with four points from six matches.
