FC Tokyo nears deal for Santos forward Moises

FC Tokyo is nearing a deal to sign forward Moises from the Brazilian club Santos FC on a one-year loan. Although reports initially suggested the player had rejected the move, Brazilian media indicates he has changed his stance and traveled to Japan to finalize the details of the agreement.

The proposed deal includes a $1.8 million (approximately 280 million yen) purchase option at the end of the loan period. Under the terms, FC Tokyo would cover the player's full salary during the loan, providing Santos with an opportunity to reduce its wage expenses. All procedures must be completed before the J1 League transfer window closes on September 16.
