FC Trapani 1905 announces return to Stadio Provinciale

FC Trapani 1905 has announced its intention to return to Stadio Provinciale, following a ruling by the Trapani Tribunal. The court closed an eviction proceeding initiated by the Libero Consorzio Comunale, ruling that the relationship regarding the stadium is a concession rather than a standard lease. The club maintains that its current concession remains valid until February 26, 2027.

The club has officially notified the Libero Consorzio, the Police Headquarters, the Prefecture, the Municipality of Erice, and the Lega Nazionale Dilettanti of its decision via certified email. FC Trapani 1905 expressed readiness to host matches at the venue starting November 15 for their Serie D match against Athletic Club Palermo.

A dispute remains regarding the financial terms, with the club contesting the amount of fees allegedly owed. While local authorities have argued the previous concession expired in February, the club asserts the second annual period of the agreement covers them through early 2027.
