Ajax and FC Twente qualify for UEFA Conference League

Dutch clubs Ajax and FC Twente have both qualified for the UEFA Conference League league phase following decisive play-off victories.

FC Twente secured their spot with a 4-1 comeback win against FK Qarabağ in Azerbaijan. After losing the first leg 1-0, Twente fought back in extra time with goals from Marko Pjaca, Max Bruns, Wout Weghorst, and Younes Taha. Twente enters the tournament from pot 3.

Ajax advanced after a high-scoring 5-3 victory over FC Sion, resulting in a 9-5 aggregate win. Tolu Arokodare scored twice during the match to help secure the win. Ajax has been placed in pot 1 for the upcoming league phase.

Following the results, the draw for the Conference League league phase is scheduled to take place in Monaco.
