FC Twente thrash DAC 1904 6‑0 in Conference League qualifier
FC Twente defeated Slovak side DAC 1904 6‑0 in the first leg of the third qualifying round of the 2026/27 UEFA Conference League at the Grolsch Veste in Enschede. Goals were scored by Daan Rots (7'), Marko Pjaca (11'), Daouda Weidmann (49'), Max Bruns (56'), Zerrouki (64') and Robin Pröpper (78').
Twente coach John van den Brom praised the team’s pressure, energy and the impact of four new players who all scored. Striker Wout Weghorst, who was hit by an elbow during the match, said the win was “a very good night” and expressed relief after the earlier Europa League exit. DAC coach Robert Klauss called the defeat a learning experience for his young squad.
