FC Utrecht defeats FC Twente in Enschede

FC Utrecht secured a 2-1 victory against FC Twente at the Grolsch Veste, marking Twente's first home defeat of the Eredivisie season. Daouda Weidmann opened the scoring for Twente in the 28th minute, but Ángel Alarcón turned the match around with two goals in the second half.

Alarcón's performance has drawn significant attention in Spain, with media outlets reporting that FC Barcelona and FC Porto are monitoring the 22-year-old's progress. Due to the transfer rights structure, both clubs may benefit financially from any future move, as FC Utrecht holds only 50 percent of the player's rights.

The match was briefly interrupted in the closing stages when supporters threw cups toward Alarcón following his decisive play.
