FC Utrecht signs Marius Broholm and evaluates Nordin Amrabat
FC Utrecht has strengthened its squad with the addition of 21-year-old Norwegian attacker Marius Broholm. Broholm joins the club on loan from LOSC Lille for the remainder of the season.
Previously a standout at Rosenborg BK, Broholm moved to the French side Lille for seven million euros last summer. He is described as a creative attacker and attacking midfielder capable of both scoring and providing assists. He will wear number 80 for FC Utrecht.
Additionally, head coach Anthony Correia has indicated that veteran attacker Nordin Amrabat may potentially sign a contract with the club. Amrabat, 39, has been training with the team for two weeks to maintain fitness after leaving Wydad Casablanca. While no contract is currently in place, Correia noted that the club is open to the possibility of the experienced player joining permanently to assist younger teammates.
