FC Vaduz signs Corsin Konietzke on loan from FC St. Gallen

FC Vaduz has secured the loan of 20-year-old midfielder Corsin Konietzke from FC St. Gallen to bolster their squad until the winter break. The move follows a knee injury sustained by Luca Mack, who suffered an external ligament tear during a match against Servette Geneva.

Konietzke, a Swiss U21 international, brings Super League experience to the Liechtenstein-based club, having made 40 appearances for FC St. Gallen and competed in the Conference League. The transfer was made possible through a special regulation for young players that allows moves outside the standard transfer window.

Vaduz sporting director Franz Burgmeier expressed satisfaction with the signing, noting that Konietzke is a talented player capable of providing immediate assistance to the midfield.
