Füchse Berlin negotiates deal for Aymeric Zaepfel

Füchse Berlin is in advanced negotiations to sign French international Aymeric Zaepfel to bolster their squad ahead of the EHF Champions League. The 24-year-old back player, currently with PAUC Aix-en-Provence, is being sought as a replacement for Lasse Andersson, who recently moved to HØJ Elite.

Club director Bob Hanning confirmed interest in Zaepfel, noting that he is one of two candidates being considered to fill the vacancy at left back. The club aims to finalize the deal quickly so the player can be available for upcoming Champions League fixtures. The transfer fee for Zaepfel is estimated to be between 80,000 and 100,000 euros.

This move is viewed as a short-term solution for the German club, providing depth before the anticipated arrival of Simon Pytlick in 2027.
