Sean Combs hospitalized after head injury in New Jersey prison
Sean “Diddy” Combs was reportedly transported by ambulance from the FCI Fort Dix federal prison in New Jersey to a hospital in the early hours of Saturday, October 10, following a head injury. While the exact cause of the injury remains unconfirmed, reports suggest it may have resulted from a fall. Combs was reportedly conscious and able to communicate during the medical transport and returned to the correctional facility before dawn. His representative, Juda Engelmayer, stated that his team is working to confirm the circumstances and that Combs’ health is their “immediate priority.”
The medical emergency follows recent controversies regarding Combs’ treatment within the prison system. Reports from NBC News and other outlets have alleged that Combs has enjoyed unusual privileges, including access to contraband such as cell phones and alcohol, as well as receiving services like specialized meals and cleaning from other inmates. Following these reports, Combs was reportedly placed in isolation.
Combs is currently serving a 50-month federal prison sentence after being convicted of two counts related to the transportation of individuals for prostitution. His scheduled release date has undergone several adjustments and is currently projected for March 2, 2028.
