FCNT to launch arrows Alpha2 smartphone on August 27
FCNT has announced the release of its high-end smartphone, the arrows Alpha2, scheduled for August 27. The device is positioned as an affordable high-end option, with the 8GB/256GB model priced under 100,000 yen (94,900 yen in the open market).
The smartphone features a MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Extreme processor and a 6.4-inch LTPO OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and 3000nit peak brightness. It is built for durability, meeting MIL-STD-810H standards and IP6X/IPX6/8/9 ratings for dust and water resistance, including the ability to take photos underwater in freshwater.
Key technical specifications include a 5370mAh silicon-carbon battery designed for two-day stamina and a 50.3MP main camera utilizing a Sony LYTIA 710 sensor. The device also integrates AI capabilities through arrows AI, Google Gemini, Perplexity, and Copilot. For health monitoring, it includes a sensor to analyze autonomic nervous system activity via fingertip pulse waves.
Distribution will span major Japanese carriers including Docomo, KDDI, SoftBank, and Rakuten Mobile, as well as MVNOs like IIJ, HIS Mobile, and mineo. IIJmio is offering a promotional MNP discount, reducing the 8GB/256GB model to 64,980 yen through November 4.
