FCNT to release arrows Alpha2 smartphone in Japan on August 27

FCNT has announced the release of its new flagship smartphone, the arrows Alpha2, scheduled for August 27. The device will be available through multiple channels in Japan, including NTT Docomo, au Flex Style, Rakuten Mobile, and various SIM-free retailers.

Building on the success of the original arrows Alpha, which attracted a younger demographic and expanded the company's user base, the Alpha2 features a redesigned flat-body aesthetic using aluminum and scratch-resistant fiberglass. The device emphasizes extreme durability, meeting 23 MIL-spec requirements and utilizing Gorilla Glass Victus 2, which allows it to withstand drops from 1.8 meters onto concrete.

Technical specifications include a Dimensity 8350 Extreme CPU, up to 12GB of RAM, and 512GB of storage. It also features a 5,370mAh battery capable of two-day use and a 50.3MP main camera equipped with a Sony LYTIA 710 sensor for improved low-light performance. Pricing for the SIM-free model starts at 94,900 yen for the 8GB/256GB version and 118,800 yen for the 12GB/512GB version.
