FCSB adds Brazilian midfielder Anderson Ceara as ex‑player’s Albanian club relegates
FCSB announced the signing of Brazilian midfielder Anderson Ceara from CS Csíkszereda for a reported €500,000 transfer fee. The 27‑year‑old will earn about €15,000 per month, an increase from his previous €7,000 salary. He scored more than 25 goals in 81 matches for the Romanian side and was praised by former coach Robert Ilyeș, who said, “Anderson Ceara can decide a match! He has that spark that is sought in modern football.”
Meanwhile, former FCSB midfielder William Baeten, nicknamed “the Painter,” left the club last summer to join Albanian side Flamurtari. Baeten made 12 appearances, scoring two goals before being released in March. Flamurtari finished the season in last place and was relegated to the Albanian second division. Baeten’s market value fell from €600,000 to €300,000 according to Transfermarkt.
