FCSB expresses interest in Nicolae Stanciu

FCSB has expressed public interest in Romanian national team captain Nicolae Stanciu, who is currently playing for Dalian Yingbo in China. Stanciu is expected to become a free agent at the end of this year following the conclusion of the Chinese season. While Stanciu has an agreement with Universitatea Cluj, FCSB owner Gigi Becali has claimed to have contacted the player personally.

Radu Constantea, president of Universitatea Cluj, responded to the interest by stating that the priority should be allowing Stanciu to focus on his upcoming four matches with the national team. Constantea noted that discussions regarding a potential transfer should wait until after these international fixtures.
