FCSB faces defensive selection challenges due to suspensions

FCSB is navigating personnel shortages in its defensive line ahead of its upcoming match against Corvinul Hunedoara. The club is dealing with the unavailability of key players due to accumulated yellow cards.

Ricardo Pădurariu, a 19-year-old left-back who recently returned from a loan at Corvinul, is suspended. Pădurariu has been noted by general manager Mihai Stoica for his strong performance in the SuperLiga since his return. Additionally, veteran defender Valentin Crețu is also unavailable due to card accumulation.

Coach Laurențiu Reghecampf is considering several options to fill these gaps. Potential solutions include starting 21-year-old Luca Stancu, who can play on both flanks, or utilizing Denis Drăguș, who has recently returned from injury. Other possibilities mentioned include 18-year-old Alexandru Stoian, goalkeeper Matei Popa, or players Ronny Labonne and Mihai Popescu.
