Romanian football players face various injury setbacks
Several Romanian football players are facing injury setbacks or recovery periods. Denis Drăguș is recovering from a knee sprain sustained during a match against Universitatea Craiova. FCSB official Mihai Stoica noted that while Drăguș is performing controlled training, the club does not want to rush his return, though he could potentially play against Oțelul or Voluntari.
At Universitatea Craiova, defender Adrian Rus is recovering from a serious knee injury sustained in August. While initially feared to be a meniscus tear requiring months of rest, he is expected to return to training after approximately one month of recovery.
Other roster updates include UTA Arad defender Peter Ouaneh, who is sidelined for 10-14 days due to a left adductor tear, and FCSB goalkeeper Ștefan Târnovanu, who has faced criticism following recent performances. Additionally, Mihai Stoica highlighted Lisav Eissat as a promising talent for the Romanian national team despite the team's recent struggles in the Nations League.
