FCSB signs young left‑back Ricardo Pădurariu from Corvinul Hunedoara

Romanian club FCSB have completed the signing of 19‑year‑old left‑back Ricardo Pădurariu, returning him from a loan spell at second‑division side Corvinul Hunedoara. During his loan he played 33 matches, contributed three goals and a decisive assist, and helped Corvinul win promotion to the SuperLiga.

FCSB officials, including sporting director Mihai Stoica, presented Pădurariu as a key component of the club’s U21 compliance strategy and a promising option for the left‑back position. The player has agreed to a new four‑year contract with the team, which is rebuilding its squad after a season that ended in the play‑out and a successful qualification for the UEFA Conference League qualifiers. The club aims to challenge for the domestic title and secure a place in European competition, counting on young talents like Pădurariu alongside retained veterans.

Pădurariu expressed confidence in his development, noting the support he received from Stoica since his junior years and his determination to give his best wherever he plays.
