FCT Police seize rifles in Dajin Madam Forest raid

The Federal Capital Territory Police Command recovered two FN FAL rifles and live ammunition during a raid on a suspected bandits’ hideout in Dajin Madam Forest, an area between Plateau and Bauchi states. The operation on August 2 followed credible intelligence supplied by arrested suspect Musbahu Ishaq, who allegedly obtained the weapons from Rabiu Hassan and passed them to bandit kingpin Baba Alhaji Sanusi, who remains at large and is believed to be hiding in a forest in Katsina state.

Commissioner of Police Ahmed Sanusi reiterated the command’s commitment to intelligence‑led policing and urged residents to provide timely, credible information to police stations or emergency lines. Police continue efforts to track other members of the criminal network, recover additional weapons and bring all suspects to justice.
