FDA recalls 4.3 million tubes of toothpaste due to manufacturing violations

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has issued a Class II recall for approximately 4.3 million tubes of toothpaste following the discovery of manufacturing procedure violations. The recall was initiated voluntarily by Pritam International Private Limited, a manufacturer based in Delhi, India.

The affected products include brands such as Brush Buddies, Crayola, Hot Wheels, My Little Pony, Evo, and Aru. Many of the recalled items are marketed toward children and feature various flavors, including strawberry, bubble gum, and watermelon.

A Class II recall indicates that the products may cause temporary or reversible health effects. While no illnesses or injuries have been reported to date, authorities recommend that consumers check their products against specific UPC and lot codes. Consumers can return the recalled items to the place of purchase for a refund.
