FDC Summit to convene global technology leaders in Egypt

The eighth edition of the FDC Summit is scheduled to take place from September 22 to 24. Held under the auspices of Egypt’s Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, the Ministry of Industry, and the Cabinet’s Information and Decision Support Center, the event will gather government officials, industry experts, and executives.

The summit features a wide array of global and local participants, including Google, Palo Alto Networks, F5, Trellix, Thales, Kaspersky, Orange, and HPE, among others. The gathering aims to facilitate dialogue and collaboration between international technology firms and the Egyptian industrial community.

Key discussion topics for the summit include artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, data centers, cloud computing, and next-generation telecommunications networks. Tarek Shabaka, chairperson of the organizing committee, noted that the event focuses on converting rapid technological transformations into tangible opportunities for economic growth and investment.
