FDEI celebrates 50th anniversary in Torre Pellice

The Federation of Evangelical Women in Italy (FDEI) is organizing a series of events in Torre Pellice to celebrate its 50th anniversary. These gatherings are scheduled to coincide with the Valdese Synod.

On August 23, a roundtable discussion will be held at the Galleria civica Filippo Scroppo in collaboration with the Valdese and Methodist Women's Federation (FFEVM). The event will feature prominent figures, including Senator Anna Rossomando and Livia Turco, to discuss women's civil rights and feminist theology within the church.

Following the anniversary celebration, the program includes “Coffee Talks” and dialogues between evangelical and Catholic women, such as a session on Bible meditation led by canonist Donata Horak.
