FDH Money Bureau awards MK40 million in promotion prizes

FDH Money Bureau has concluded its five-month ‘Double Double’ promotion by awarding a total of MK40 million in grand prizes. Four pairs of winners, each receiving MK10 million, were selected through the draw: Maud Alick and Frank Alick, Issa Namutibuka and Ladouce Therese, Astrid Fatima Magnan and Chiukepo M. Magawa, and Wadzanai Mukurutangwa and Ruth Kapida.

The promotion, which launched in July, incentivized both senders and recipients of money transfers via Western Union, MoneyGram, and Ria using FDH platforms. In addition to the grand prizes, the bureau held monthly draws where 20 winners received MK500,000 each.

Marketing Manager Tiyese Kaimila stated that the campaign successfully encouraged the use of safe, regulated money transfer channels. Kaimila also noted that the initiative supported foreign exchange regulation by improving the flow of foreign currency through recognized financial institutions and enhancing transparency in money transfers.
