FDI World Dental Federation launches Generation Smile movement

Under the inaugural theme 'Join Generation Smile', the campaign aims to promote oral health as an essential component of overall well-being. The movement emphasizes that oral diseases are linked to various systemic health conditions and seeks to encourage individual actions, such as regular dental visits and improved hygiene habits, to create a global impact.
FDI President Dr. Nikolai Sharkov noted that approximately 3.7 billion people worldwide are affected by oral diseases, many of whom lack access to necessary care. The campaign utilizes a visual identity inspired by street art to transcend cultural borders and invites global participation through digital engagement.
