FDJ UNITED secures 10-year gambling license in Romania
FDJ UNITED has secured a Class I gambling license from Romania’s National Gambling Office (ONJN), ensuring its continued operation in the Romanian iGaming market for the next decade. Operating through Unibet (Germany) Limited, the license is valid from September 1, 2026, until August 31, 2036.
The new license covers three major brands active in the Romanian market: Unibet, Vlad Cazino, and 32Roșu. This renewal follows an initial ten-year licensing cycle that began in 2016.
FDJ UNITED is a major European gambling group with over 5,700 employees and approximately 33 million players, reporting revenues of 3.7 billion euros for 2025. The group’s current structure includes the acquisition of Kindred Group. In Romania, the group maintains a presence in professional football, with Unibet partnering with FC Botoșani and Vlad Cazino appearing on the kits of FC Argeș for the 2026/27 season.
