FDJ UNITED secures 10-year gambling license in Romania
FDJ UNITED has secured a new 10-year Class I gambling license from Romania’s National Gambling Office (ONJN), ensuring the group’s continued presence in the country’s online gambling segment. The license, numbered L1260657W001792, is valid from September 1, 2026, until August 31, 2036.
Through this authorization, the group will continue to operate its established brands in the Romanian market, including Unibet, Vlad Cazino, and 32Roșu. This renewal follows an initial decade of regulated activity and aligns with the company’s broader international development and repositioning strategy.
FDJ UNITED is one of Europe’s largest gambling groups, employing over 5,700 people and serving approximately 33 million players. The group reported revenues of 3.7 billion euros for 2025 and operates across roughly 15 regulated markets. Its current structure includes the acquisition of Kindred Group, which expanded its portfolio of sports betting and online casino brands.
