FDP leaders address German political identity and state dysfunction

He noted that many voters turn to extremist parties not necessarily due to their competence, but as a reaction to perceived political dysfunction. Kubicki also pointed to economic pressures, including high energy costs and increasing bureaucracy, as factors undermining Germany’s competitiveness and causing citizens to lose faith in traditional political problem-solving.
