Fédérale 1 rugby season begins with first round of matches

The first round of the 2026-2027 Fédérale 1 rugby season has concluded, featuring 48 teams divided into four pools. The matches will continue through 22 rounds, concluding on April 11 before the final phase begins.

Key results from the opening weekend include:

Pool 1: Tours defeated Annecy 31-9, while Saint-Jean-en-Royans beat Beauvais 31-14. Auxerre secured a narrow 23-21 win over Montmélian.

Pool 2: Mazamet and Gruissan played to a 20-20 draw. CO Berre achieved a significant 37-0 victory over Bédarrides/Châteauneuf-du-Pape.

Pool 3: TOEC-TOAC won against Cahors 24-19, and Saint-Sulpice secured a dominant 48-17 win over Tulle.
