Fédération Nationale Solidarité Femmes warns of funding risks

The Fédération Nationale Solidarité Femmes (FNSF) has raised alarms regarding potential funding cuts and staffing shortages facing its support networks. The organization, which comprises 83 associations and 53 reception structures, warns that an upcoming reform of the financing for centers for housing and social reintegration (CHRS) could jeopardize its ability to assist victims of violence.

In 2025, the FNSF network provided support to 1,300 women and 1,600 children, offering long-term solutions such as autonomous housing, employment assistance, and access to healthcare and legal services. The organization expressed concern that the implementation decree for the new funding model, expected on January 1, may reduce the subsidies necessary to maintain these specialized services.
