Fe Natural Foundation holds fifth community afforestation day

The Fe Natural Foundation, in collaboration with the Faculty of Exact Sciences at Unicen, held its fifth community afforestation day at the O’Higgins and Brandsen plaza. The event, held during Tree Week, involved more than 60 participants, including 34 students, neighbors, and local businesses.

During the session, 46 plants were added to the area, consisting of seven trees and two beds of native species. The initiative is part of the ‘Graduates and Students Afforestation’ project, which began in 2024 to connect university members with urban forestry and community environmental care. To date, the project has successfully incorporated more than 200 plants through its various sessions.
