Fe y Alegría celebrates 60 years of education in Peru

Fe y Alegría is celebrating 60 years of providing quality public education to vulnerable communities in Peru. To commemorate this milestone, the institution has launched its ‘Gran Rifa 2026’ campaign, themed ‘60 years educating on the margins of the system.’

The initiative aims to raise resources to strengthen its educational mission across the country. The raffle features a grand prize of a Jetour X-70 FL vehicle, along with 120 additional prizes including electronics and gift cards. Tickets are priced at S/ 5, with the draw scheduled for September 23.

Since its arrival in Peru in 1966, following the initiative of Jesuit priest José María Vélaz, the organization has expanded from peripheral areas of Lima to a network covering 21 regions. It currently serves more than 86,000 students through 244 educational institutions.
