Fear Factory guitarist Dino Cazares previews diverse new album
Fear Factory guitarist Dino Cazares has revealed that the band’s upcoming album will feature a diverse sound, exploring various musical elements. This new material marks a significant era for the industrial metal pioneers following lineup changes.
The band recently released the single “Roboticist” via Nuclear Blast, which serves as the first official track featuring new vocalist Milo Silvestro and drummer Pete Webber. Silvestro and Webber have been part of the band’s touring lineup for over three and a half years.
Cazares noted that “Roboticist” was originally an instrumental track created three years ago to demonstrate different tones for his Toneforge Disruptor plugin. The song has since been rearranged to accommodate vocals and features the use of eight-string guitars. Cazares expressed that the addition of Silvestro’s vocals helped finalize the track’s direction.
