Febrie Adriansyah case transferred to South Jakarta District Attorney
The Attorney General's Office (Kejagung) has officially transferred the case files and evidence of former Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes, Febrie Adriansyah, to the South Jakarta District Attorney's Office. The transfer follows the completion of the investigation (P21 status) regarding allegations of extortion and money laundering.
In addition to Adriansyah, the transfer includes two other suspects: lawyer Don Ritto and private sector individual Nurman Herin. Investigations into Adriansyah involve the seizure of 74 kilograms of gold and Rp543 billion in cash found at a residence in Sentul, West Java. The allegations suggest the money laundering occurred during his tenure as a structural official within the prosecution service.
Adriansyah is also reportedly linked to several other major corruption investigations, including cases involving PT Krakatau Steel, coal procurement for PT PLN, and the PT ASABRI corruption case. Activists have urged the public to maintain focus on this high-profile case, expressing concerns that other national political developments might serve as distractions from the legal proceedings.
