FECAICA and CNI promote regional industrial and investment integration
The Federation of Chambers and Industrial Associations of Central America and the Dominican Republic (FECAICA) will host the 2026 Regional Industry Congress in San Salvador on October 29. Under the theme “Regional Integration and Business Leadership,” the event aims to strengthen economic integration and position the region as a competitive platform for international business and investment.
Key speakers include executives from PepsiCo Alimentos, Grupo Progreso, and Grupo SID. The congress will focus on four strategic pillars: potential, strategy, execution, and inspiration, to drive industrial growth and attract investment across Central America and the Dominican Republic.
Simultaneously, Honduras’ National Investment Council (CNI) is conducting a strategic mission to Panama and Barbados from October 19 to 24. Led by Minister Epaminondas Marinakys, the delegation seeks to promote Honduras as a business destination and propose a historic alliance between the Caribbean Association of Investment Promotion Agencies (CAIPA) and the World Association of Investment Promotion Agencies (WAIPA). The goal is to unify Central America and the Caribbean into a single, competitive global investment ecosystem.
