The Federation of Trade in Goods, Services, and Tourism (Fecomércio) has organized strategic seminars in the Brazilian states of Acre and Amapá to address economic development and tourism integration.
In Acre, the I Seminar of Economic and Sustainable Development of Acre brought together specialists and business leaders in Rio Branco. Fábio Bentes, chief economist of the National Confederation of Trade in Goods, Services, and Tourism (CNC), provided an analysis of national economic indicators and the challenges facing the productive sector. The discussions focused on planning for 2027 and understanding the current landscape of the services, commerce, and tourism sectors.
In Amapá, the 'Vai Turismo' meeting was held in partnership with the CNC to strengthen public policies and integrate the tourism sector. The event featured presentations on tourist intelligence initiatives and the 'Vai Turismo – Rumo ao Futuro' program. The goal is to transform local territorial priorities into actionable public policy recommendations, fostering collaboration between the public sector, private enterprises, and professional qualification institutions like Sesc and Senac.
