FEDA conducts social inclusion program in Hato Dama
The Special Fund for Agricultural Development (FEDA) conducted a social inclusion program in the municipal district of Hato Dama, San Cristóbal. The initiative provided various resources to the community, including laying hens for women and tools for farmers.
In addition to physical resources, the event offered health services and training sessions. Educational topics included family gardens, agrotourism, and the empowerment of Dominican women. The program integrated several initiatives such as ‘Madres del Campo’, ‘FEDA en tu Comunidad’, and ‘Agropecuarios del Mañana’ to facilitate rural development and entrepreneurship.
Various state institutions participated in the event, including the Ministry of Women, Promipyme, and the National Health Service. Administrative manager Pablo Ramos represented director Hecmilio Galván, emphasizing the goal of providing orientation and access to services for rural producers and community members.
