Fedecámaras Nueva Esparta partners with Swing Energy for solar power
Fedecámaras Nueva Esparta has entered into a strategic alliance with Swing Energy to implement photovoltaic solar energy systems on Margarita and Coche islands. This initiative aims to provide electrical self-generation capabilities to the private sector to mitigate the impact of frequent national power grid failures on commercial and productive activities.
Gabriel Briceño, president of the regional chapter of Fedecámaras, stated that the private sector will play an important role in the transformation of the national electrical system through clean technology. To facilitate adoption, the program will offer medium-term financing through international banking, with repayment terms ranging between 36 and 60 months. To qualify for these special credit options, companies must be active members of their respective business guilds.
